Prediction and tracking of long-range-dependent sequences

چکیده
Long-range-dependent (LRD) sequences have been found to be of importance in various fields such as telecommunications, signal processing and finance. Since the history of an LRD sequence has significant impact on the present values, it is expected that accurate prediction and tracking of these sequences are easier than of short-range-dependent sequences. The purpose of this paper is to verify whether distant observations in the past might increase the performance of a constrained tracker significantly when this information from the past is used in combination with recent observations. © 2005 Elsevier B.V. Adaptive Fusion of Inertial Navigation System and Tracking Radar Data
Against the range-dependent accuracy of the tracking radar measurements including range, elevation and bearing angles, a new hybrid adaptive Kalman filter is proposed to enhance the performance of the radar aided strapdown inertial navigation system (INS/Radar). This filter involves the concept of residual-based adaptive estimation and adaptive fading Kalman filter and tunes dynamically the fil...
متن کاملIdentification and Functional Prediction of Long Non-Coding RNAs Responsive to Drought stress in Lens culinaris L.
Drought stress is one of the main environmental factors that affects growth and productivity of crop plants, including lentil. In the course of evolution evolution, crucial genetic regulations mediated by non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) have emerged in plant in response to drought and other abiotic stresses. In the present study, after identifying lncRNAs within the expression profile of lentil, RNA-s...
متن کاملApplications of Quantum Dots in Cell Tracking
Tracking cells after transplantation is always one the main concerns of researchers in the field of regenerative medicine. Finding a tracer with long stability and low cytotoxicity can be considered as a solution for this issue. Semiconductor nanocrystals, also called quantum dots (QDs), have unique photophysical properties which make them as suitable candidate in this setting. Broad-range exci...
متن کاملTracking the Sequences of Patient-Therapist Dialogues by Coding Responses during Integrative Psychotherapy
Aim: The Assimilation of Problematic Experiences Scale (APES) for the coding of client responses and the Process Focused Conversation Analysis (PFCA) for coding therapist responses were applied to transcripts of a successful case of integrative psychotherapy of depression. Methods: the research method of the present research was case study. Dialogues (150) between a therapist and client in one ...
متن کاملHuman auditory cortical dynamics during perception of long acoustic sequences: phase tracking of carrier frequency by the auditory steady-state response.
We recorded human auditory cortical activity during the perception of long, changing acoustic signals and analyzed information provided by dynamic neural population measures over a large range of time intervals (approximately 24 ms-5 s). Participants listened to musical scales that were amplitude modulated at a rate of 41.5 Hz, generating an ongoing, stimulus-related oscillatory brain signal, t...
